Find waiting times for planned care hospital appointments in Scotland

This service can show you waiting times for first appointments and treatments at health boards in Scotland.

It includes waiting times for outpatient appointments at clinics led by consultants, and inpatient and day case appointments.

Use this information to get an idea of how long the wait for your planned care appointment might be.

While this service is intended to help you with your wait, it has some limitations. It cannot tell you:

  • how long your individual wait will be
  • how long waits are for specific procedures
  • differences between urgent and routine waiting times

It does not include some services, such as diagnostic appointments and return outpatient appointments.

We cannot show the most recent waiting times for NHS Ayrshire and Arran because of system issues affecting this health board. Waiting times shown for NHS Ayrshire and Arran are for the period 1 July 2024 to 30 September 2024.
